Job Vacancies :

1) IT MANAGER/DEPUTY OR ASSISTANT IT MANAGER

Responsibilities

Oversee the IT system/network infrastructure, hardware, applications and IT projects of both St Luke’s Hospital and St Luke’s Eldercare

Lead and manage a team of IT staff to design, develop and enhance existing hospital IT systems as well as to develop new systems
Work closely with Functional Heads to identify and establish user requirements and translate them into specifications
Conduct business/system analysis, perform feasibility studies, prepare project plans, develop implementation plans and execute the plans
Requirements

Possess a good degree in IT or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in application development project management

Good understanding of software development life cycle from requirement to implementation and maintenance
Leadership skills and managerial experience
 
2) ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING

Responsibilities
Identify, plan, implement and evaluate the orientation, in-service and continuing education programmes for all nursing staff
Facilitate nursing care activities with other members of health care team and other service providers on clinical issues
Assist to formulate, review nursing standards procedures, guidelines including documentation regularly and when required  
Requirements

Registered Nurse with a post basic or degree in nursing and relevant experience in nursing management with evidence of effort in continuing professional growth

 
3) SENIOR NURSE MANAGER / NURSE MANAGER

Responsibilities
Plan and direct daily operational activities in the wards
Deploy and supervise nursing personnel, as well as provide in-service training for nursing and ancillary staff
Supervise the maintenance of nursing records, medical treatments and related services
Requirements
Registered Nurse with relevant post-basic Nursing qualifications, preferably with ward administration and management experience
Able to work 2 rotating shifts
(Those with relevant years of experience may be considered for a senior position)
 
4) CLINICAL INSTRUCTORS

Responsibilities
Implement induction programmes for new nursing staff
Assist in planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing clinical and classroom training programmes; as well as supervision and coaching of nursing staff in wards
Requirements
Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board, preferably with relevant training and coaching certificates

Able to work 2 rotating shifts

 
5) HOME CARE STAFF NURSE

Responsibilities
Plan and manage resources for home visits
Co-ordinate and support in-house training programmes for the home caregivers
Provide administrative support to Home Care Service and coverage for Outpatient Clinics
Requirements
Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board
Minimum 2 years’ experience in general medical, surgical and/or geriatrics
Able to speak local dialects/languages
 
6) STAFF NURSE (INPATIENT)

Responsibilities
Plan and provide nursing care to meet the patients’s need
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patients, treatments and conditions
Assist in supervision of junior nurses and ancillary staff
Ensure availability of ward stock
Requirements
Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board
Minimum 1 year’s ward experience
Able to work 2 or 3 rotating shifts
 
7) STAFF NURSE (OUTPATIENT)

Responsibilities
Plan, supervise & guide the care-giver to provide appropriate health care to patients
Assist the Outpatient Service Manager in operations of the outpatient clinics & oversee the nursing aspect of patient care
Supervise the maintenance of nursing records, medical treatments & related services
Requirements
Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board
Minimum 1 year’s ward experience
 
8) OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS & PHYSIOTHERAPISTS

Responsibilities
Provide quality geriatric occupational therapy or physiotherapy to patients during office hours
Participate in patients’ case consultations and meetings
Supervise therapy assistants and provide in-service education for staff and caregivers
Requirements
Degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy, with interest in working with the elderly
Those with relevant experience may be considered for senior position
 
9) MEDICAL SOCIAL WORKER

Responsibilities
Perform social and financial assessment of patients and make recommendations
Provide counseling to patients and their families and lead in family conferences
Liaise with relevant organizations for collaboration and networking in the care of the elderly
Attend to the social needs of destitute patients
Participate in a multi-disciplinary team on patient care
Conduct groupwork with the elderly patients or their caregivers
Requirements
Degree in Social Work (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)
Must have an interest to work with the elderly in a hospital environment
 
10) ASSISTANT CHAPLAIN

Responsibilities
Assist the Chaplain in the following:
Provide pastoral care and counseling for patients and families, staff and volunteers where appropriate
Plan and implement Christian programmes
Conduct worship services for patients and staff
Build and coordinate a team of volunteer pastoral care givers
Requirements
A recognized pastor or mature Christian worker, preferably over 30 years of age, with Theological training and experience in pastoral care and counseling
Interest in ministering to the elderly
Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin
Conversant in Chinese dialects such as Hokkien, Cantonese
Able to work independently
Able to work with the interdisciplinary team
 
11) ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (CHAPLAINCY) - PART-TIME

Responsibilities
Assist in admin support for the Chaplaincy Department
Assist with arrangement for Chapel services
Assist in writing minutes
Assist with portering patients to Chapel  
Requirements
GCE 'O' level and above qualification
At least 2 to 3 years' practical experience in admin functions and preferably with
some ministry experience
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Words and PowerPoint
Good communication skills with ability to speak Mandarin and other local dialects
Able to work independently and in a team
 
12) FINANCE ASSISTANT

Responsibilities
Processing and preparation of invoices to inpatients.
Processing claims for submission to Medisave, Medishield and other insurance agencies
Attend to enquiries on inpatients’ accounts
Assist in the review and follow up on outstanding accounts
Provide back up support to patient admission and collection of payments  
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a minimum of GCE A’level, Diploma in  Business Administration/Finance, LCCI in Accountancy or related disciplines
Preferably posses one year working experience in similar capacity
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel/ Words)
Knowledge and experience in computerized accounting (preferably MYOB and ACCPAC) is necessary
Good communication, interpersonal & organizational skills
Comfortable to work with mandarin dialects speaking patients, family members and public
 
13) OUTPATIENT SERVICES ASSISTANT

Responsibilities
Provide administration support to the Outpatient Services, taking charge of client registration, appointment making, payment collection and management of patient records
Undertake general reception and other adhoc clerical duties as assigned
Requirements
GCE ‘O’ or ‘A’ level passes
1 to 2 years’ experience in reception/ customer service and administration, preferably in healthcare environment
Excellent communication and telephone skills
Comfortable to work with mandarin dialects speaking patients, family members and public
Outgoing, confident, friendly, presentable appearance and pleasant disposition
 
14) THERAPY ASSISTANTS (TEMP TO PERM)

Responsibilities
Assist the Therapists in providing therapy treatments (including lifting, transferring and transporting patients)
Perform housekeeping duties in the gym
Requirements
GCE ‘N’ level or above, preferably with some basic experience in caring for the elderly sick
Physically fit
 
15) ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Responsibilities
Ensure medical records are handled in compliance with Hospital’s guidelines and policies 
Accurate labeling and filing of medical records
Manage and control movement of medical records
Initiate ordering and effective inventory management of store items
Issue and receive store items
Tracking expiry dates of stock items
Ensure that all store items are kept in good condition and minimize wastage
Back-up purchasing functions as and when required
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a minimum of GCE ‘O’ or ‘A’ levels  

Preferably possesses two years relevant working experience in similar capacity 

Good communication, interpersonal & organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Able to work independently and in a team
Possession of a Class 3 driving license would be an advantage
 
16) CORPORATE SERVICES ASSOCIATE

Responsibilities
Recruit, coordinate, organize and plan activities and placement of volunteers  
Collate service quality feedback for the hospital
Assist in the coordinate visits/ events
Handle feedback from patients
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a minimum of GCE A’level / Diploma / Degree from a recognized institute  
Energetic team player with initiative, good interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong verbal and excellent writing skills
Good interpersonal communication skills with the ability to deal with all levels of individuals 
Experience in voluntary welfare organization or in a healthcare setting would be advantageous
