1) IT MANAGER/DEPUTY OR ASSISTANT IT MANAGER
Responsibilities |
| • |
Oversee the IT system/network infrastructure, hardware, applications and IT projects of both St Luke’s Hospital and St Luke’s Eldercare
|
| • |
Lead and manage a team of IT staff to design, develop and enhance existing hospital IT systems as well as to develop new systems |
| • |
Work closely with Functional Heads to identify and establish user requirements and translate them into specifications |
| • |
Conduct business/system analysis, perform feasibility studies, prepare project plans, develop implementation plans and execute the plans |
| Requirements |
| • |
Possess a good degree in IT or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in application development project management

| • |
Good understanding of software development life cycle from requirement to implementation and maintenance |
| • |
Leadership skills and managerial experience |

2) ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING
Responsibilities |
| • |
Identify, plan, implement and evaluate the orientation, in-service and continuing education programmes for all nursing staff |
| • |
Facilitate nursing care activities with other members of health care team and other service providers on clinical issues |
| • |
Assist to formulate, review nursing standards procedures, guidelines including documentation regularly and when required

| Requirements |

Registered Nurse with a post basic or degree in nursing and relevant experience in nursing management with evidence of effort in continuing professional growth |

SENIOR NURSE MANAGER / NURSE MANAGER
Responsibilities |
| • |
Plan and direct daily operational activities in the wards |
| • |
Deploy and supervise nursing personnel, as well as provide in-service training for nursing and ancillary staff |

Supervise the maintenance of nursing records, medical treatments and related services |
| Requirements |
| • |
Registered Nurse with relevant post-basic Nursing qualifications, preferably with ward administration and management experience |

Able to work 2 rotating shifts |

4) CLINICAL INSTRUCTORS
Responsibilities |

Implement induction programmes for new nursing staff |
| • |
Assist in planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing clinical and classroom training programmes; as well as supervision and coaching of nursing staff in wards |

Registered Nurse with Singapore Nursing Board, preferably with relevant training and coaching certificates |

Able to work 2 rotating

5) HOME CARE STAFF NURSE
Responsibilities |
| • |
Plan and manage resources for home visits |
| • |
Co-ordinate and support in-house training programmes for the home caregivers |

Provide administrative support to Home Care Service and coverage for Outpatient Clinics

| Requirements |

Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board |

Minimum 2 years’ experience in general medical, surgical and/or geriatrics |

Able to speak local dialects/languages |

6) STAFF NURSE (INPATIENT)
Responsibilities |

Plan and provide nursing care to meet the patients’s need |

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patients, treatments and conditions |

Assist in supervision of junior nurses and ancillary staff |
| • |
Ensure availability of ward
stock |
| Requirements |

Registered Nurse with the Singapore Nursing Board |

Minimum 1 year’s ward experience |

7) STAFF NURSE (OUTPATIENT)
Responsibilities |

Assist the Outpatient Service Manager in operations of the outpatient clinics & oversee the nursing aspect of patient care |

Supervise the maintenance of nursing records, medical treatments & related services |

8) OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS & PHYSIOTHERAPISTS
Responsibilities |

Provide quality geriatric occupational therapy or physiotherapy to patients during office hours |

Participate in patients’ case consultations and meetings |
| • |
Supervise therapy assistants and provide in-service education for staff and caregivers |
| Requirements |
| • |
Degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy, with interest in working with the elderly |

Those with relevant experience may be considered for senior position |

9) MEDICAL SOCIAL WORKER
Responsibilities |
| • |
Perform social and financial assessment of patients and make recommendations |
| • |
Provide counseling to patients and their families and lead in family conferences |
| • |
Liaise with relevant organizations for collaboration and networking in the care of the elderly |
| • |
Attend to the social needs of destitute patients |
| • |
Participate in a multi-disciplinary team on patient care |

Conduct groupwork with the elderly patients or their caregivers |

10) ASSISTANT CHAPLAIN
Responsibilities |
Assist the Chaplain in the following: |

Provide pastoral care and counseling for patients and families, staff and volunteers where appropriate |

Plan and implement Christian programmes |

Conduct worship services for patients and staff |
| • |
Build and coordinate a team of volunteer pastoral care givers |
| Requirements |

A recognized pastor or mature Christian worker, preferably over 30 years of age, with Theological training and experience in pastoral care and counseling |

Interest in ministering to the elderly |

Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin |

Conversant in Chinese dialects such as Hokkien, Cantonese |

11) ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT (CHAPLAINCY) - PART-TIME

Assist in the review and follow up on outstanding accounts |

Provide back up support to patient admission and collection of payments

1 to 2 years’ experience in reception/ customer service and administration, preferably in healthcare environment |

Accurate labeling and filing of medical records |

Manage and control movement of medical records |

Initiate ordering and effective inventory management of store items |

Issue and receive store items |

Tracking expiry dates of stock items |

Ensure that all store items are kept in good condition and minimize wastage |

Back-up purchasing functions as and when required |
