As the Medical Director, Dr Chia Tee Hien leads a multi-disciplinary team consisting of clinicians, pharmacists and dieticians. He has also been practising as a Family Physician in the community setting for more than two decades. Inspired by his own Family Physician when he was young, Dr Chia decided to embark on this field after experiencing such good care. Dr Chia’s main interest is in rehabilitative medicine in the geriatric population. He is also a core faculty member in the NUHS Family Medicine Residency programme. An avid runner, Dr Chia trains regularly to keep himself healthy. Spurred by his passion for running and heart for patients, he has also joined running events to raise funds for patients at St Luke’s Hospital.
