CancerRehabilitation
About Cancer Rehabilitation
Cancer is a disease whereby the body’s cells grow abnormally and spread to other parts of the body.
Cancer cells form when DNA abnormalities cause a gene to behave differently from how it should. Instead of replacing themselves normally, cells replace in a disorganised manner. They can grow into the surrounding tissue, spread through the bloodstream, lymph system and eventually throughout the body.
Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the world, but today, there are advances in technology and treatment.
