About Neurological Rehabilitation
Neurological disorders are diseases of the central and peripheral nervous system. These include epilepsy, Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, cerebrovascular diseases including stroke, Parkinson’s disease, brain tumours and traumatic brain disorders.
Neurological rehabilitation seeks to treat disorders by improving function, reducing symptoms and improving the overall patient well-being.
While symptoms vary between individuals, the most common signs of a neurological disorder include:
