Job Summary:
  • Assist in fulfilling the mission of the hospital
  • Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and to oversee the responsibilities of fund-raising, corporate communications, volunteer management and service excellence of St Luke’s Hospital (SLH)
Responsibilities and Duties:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer with the following responsibilities:

(a) Corporate Services & Communications


  • Execute and implement brand development plans as well as strategies to raise and grow the corporate profile of SLH
  • Promote the brand initiatives, programs and services of SLH
  • Engage the media through corporate website, social media platforms / campaigns and other social networking tools
  • Oversee the publications, promotional materials, annual reports, press releases etc of SLH


  • Maximise internal communications gateway to staff
  • Optimise external communications relating to customer service and service quality management
  • Oversee media relations

Corporate Services

  • Oversee major corporate events such as anniversary and annual dinner
  • Provide corporate services for public health education and events organised by SLH

(b) Volunteer Management

  • Identify and run volunteer programmes for SLH
  • Oversee the recruitment, training and orientation of volunteers to SLH as well as the volunteer management system
  • Organise volunteer appreciation events and manage the welfare of volunteers

(c) Fundraising

Donor management, engagement and cultivation

  • Manage fund-raising portfolios and projects of SLH
  • Explore new corporate and individual donor accounts as well as strengthen existing donors
  • Adhere to government and statutory compliance relating to charities’ grants and applications

Events Planning

  • Develop cum build services and partnerships with churches / other relevant organisations and other community healthcare groups
  • Collaborate with the media, community and government agencies, industry partners, volunteers etc
  • Plan and execute media plus publicity programs for corporate and fundraising initiatives, activities and events of SLH

(d) Service Excellence

  • In charge of service quality pertaining to patient care eg patient satisfaction survey etc
  • Provide service excellence via service ambassadors and receptionist
  • At least 20 years’ working experience in corporate communications, public relations, fund raising and volunteer management preferably in a voluntary welfare organisation
  • An experienced leader in managing multiple functions and a team
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong in planning and execution with the ability to drive processes and delivery
  • Strong negotiation and analytical skills with the passion to excel
