MOH’s EatSafe SG initiative was launched in July 2022. It applies to all Community Care services that provide meals to clients with swallowing difficulties and/or involved in the direct care for patients with Dysphagia. Pre-requisite requirement:
Completed mandatory MOH EatSafe SG e-learning programme on AIC’s Community Care Learning Management System (CCLMS).
- MOH EatSafe SG E-learning Programme (Full: Gum based)
- MOH EatSafe SG E-learning Programme (Full: Starch-based)
- MOH EatSafe SG E-learning Programme (Full: Gum & Starch-based)
- Only 1 of the above e-Learning programme is needed, depending on what type of thickeners are used in the institution.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to
Reinforce understanding of new diet texture and fluid labels and descriptors
Perform diet texture and fluid tests to assess which IDDSI levels they fit into
Demonstrate accurate preparation of fluid textures
