Dementia care course (basic)

Dementia can affect the person, family and caregivers. Join this course to be equipped with the fundamental knowledge and skills in dementia care.

Course objectives

  • Know how to use the person-centred care approach
  • Acquire skills to communicate effectively
  • Apply management strategies for distressed behaviours

Course dates (2019):

Session 1: 1 Mar, 8.30 am–12.30 pm

Session 2: 1 Mar, 1.30–5.30 pm

Session 3: 8 Mar, 2–6 pm

Session 4: 15 Mar, 2–6 pm

Session 5: 22 Mar, 2–6 pm

Course fee: $813.20 (including GST)

Prevailing course fee subsidy at 90% for Singaporeans/PRs and 45% for foreign staff working in eligible community care organisations.
