UPDATE ON COVID-19 CLUSTER IN ST LUKE'S HOSPITAL

November 10, 2021

The COVID-19 cluster at St Luke’s Hospital have had no new cases added to it since 1 Nov.

Upon detection of positive COVID-19 cases in one ward, our hospital carried out precautionary measures including ward lockdown, isolation and transfers of affected patients to acute hospitals for treatment, regular swab tests for staff and patients in the affected ward, as well as deep cleansing and disinfection of the affected areas.

Our hospital has been and will continue to take precautions and follow strict infection control measures according to MOH guidelines. Our business continuity plans are in place since early 2020, with split team operations and no cross deployment, to ensure minimal disruption to our normal operations to keep all patients, visitors and staff safe.

Thank you.
