Visitor Information
St Luke’s Hospital will be introducing a new Visitor Management System (VMS) on 20 January 2025. This system is designed to streamline the registration experience, reduce wait times and enhance patient data security and privacy.
Registration / Check-in Required:
- Inpatient/ Ward Visitors
- Outpatient (For SLCC / DRC Patients)
- Visitors accompanying SLCC / DRC Patients

Visitor Registration Requirements
All visitors must register prior to entering inpatient wards at any level and outpatient services located on Level 1 (St Luke’s Community Clinic) and Level 2
(Day Rehabilitation Centre).
- For Ward Visitors: Please provide the patient's name, ward, and bed number.
- For Outpatient Visitors: The patient's identification number is required.
- To access the turnstiles, visitors must present their IC, FIN No. or Passport.
Registration Methods
Visitors can register through the following options:
1. Online Visitor Pre-Registration System
Pre-Registration will be available from 17 January 2025
2. Registration/ Check-in Kiosks
Located at the main entrance on Level 1.
Note: Visitors and foreigners without a Singapore-issued identity card, employment permit, or student pass should seek assistance from our Service Ambassadors.






Inpatient Visitor Guidelines
- Visiting Hours: 10AM - 8PM

Visitor Limit:
General Wards - Two visitors at bedside at a time
Palliative Ward - Five visitors at bedside at a time - Exceptions: Special provisions apply for dangerously-ill patients (DIL) or caregivers needing caregiver training (CGT).
Entry Guidelines for Inpatient Visitors
- Masks are mandatory in all inpatient wards.
- Eating is prohibited in bedside areas, ward corridors, and wards.
Outpatient Visitor Guidelines
Entry Restrictions
- Are experiencing illness (e.g., fever, cough, sore throat, cold symptoms, shortness of breath) or are on medical leave (MC).
- Are children under 12 years old.
Note: Individuals who meet the criteria for COVID-19 testing may be referred for assessment.






General Visiting Guidelines
- Noise Consideration: Keep noise levels to a minimum, as excessive noise can disturb patients’ sleep and hinder their recovery.
- Hand Hygiene: Wash your hands with soap and water or use alcohol-based hand sanitizer before and after your visit.
- Prohibited Activities: Smoking and consuming alcohol are not allowed on hospital grounds. Additionally, unauthorized photography or audio/video recording with any device is strictly forbidden within St Luke’s Hospital premises.
