St Luke's Hospital Charity Dinner 2024
Celebrating Silver: Symphony of Hope
St Luke’s Hospital is deeply grateful for the generous support of our donors and partners. While the event has successfully concluded, donations are still welcome until 31 October 2024. Please refer to the donation options here.
Each year, we disburse $4 million in hospital subsidies to about 5,000 patients, above and beyond government and MediFund assistance. Your contribution enables patients, including those requiring rehabilitation, wound care, dementia care, or palliative care, to receive the treatment they need and reintegrate into their families and communities.
Thank you for helping us transform community care!
- Friday, 13 September 2024
- 6:30pm – 10:00pm

Key Highlights
Singapore is ageing rapidly, with one in four projected to be above 65 years old by 2030. As a pioneering Community Hospital care provider for more than two decades, St Luke’s Hospital (SLH) has been supporting the care of older persons through our holistic care ecosystem. To continue serving the growing care needs, SLH is hosting a Charity Dinner to shine a light on the transformative power of integrative rehabilitation care beyond recovery towards fitness and inspire support for ageing well in Singapore.
Events highlights include:
- Rehabilitation Experiential Zone
- Three-part Musical Ensemble
- Launch of iReX – Singapore’s first Integrated Rehabilitation Exercise Programme in a Community Hospital
Mervin Wong is a performer, violist, composer, and electronic producer. He is an artist who is deeply dedicated to the shared experience of sound. Raised in chambers of string, it took a moment for him to recognize the Viola as his truest limb. The tectonic shift to this deeper, enduring register has shaped his foray into electronic music-making. Mournful but raft of grief. Mervin Wong’s long-form sensibilities rouse our waterflesh. Years of forging his intention allow his process to be bright with speed. In service of resonance, every grain is burnished to the bone. A canoe made of ice. His sounds return to matter. Where footsteps span light years. Waves seethe and where the cosmos can glide through an albatross.
Singapore’s latest string ensemble, Bards of Neverland, is a vibrant and energetic quartet formed by Singapore’s new generation of classical musicians. All four members – David Loke, Cho Hang Oh, Martin Peh, and Yang Shuxiang – are alumni of the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music and have been mentored under Lionel Tan, a founding member of T’ang Quartet.
