Frequently Asked Questions
General FAQ
VMS stands for Visitor Management System. SLH is implementing this system to enhance the security of the hospital premises and to ensure the hospital is prepared for pandemic situations.
All visitors to SLH must register using their NRIC, FIN, or passport.
Registration can be done either:
- Online – via pre-registration.
- Onsite – at the self-service registration kiosks.
To pre-register online, please visit our registration portal at this link or use the self-service registration kiosks available on-site. Keep in mind that your registration is only valid for one day. When you arrive at St. Luke’s Hospital, please bring your IC, FIN, or passport for verification.
• Next of Kins (NOK) visiting relatives in wards must check in at the self-help kiosks, even if they have preregistered online, to manage visitor limits. If the limit is reached, they will be informed to wait until it’s their turn to enter.
• Patients and NOK visiting the Day Rehabilitation Centre (DRC) are required to check in at the self-help kiosks to confirm their DRC appointments. Only those with confirmed appointments will be allowed entry.
• Patients and NOK visiting St Luke’s Community Clinic (SLCC) must register at the self-help kiosks if they have not preregistered.
Members of the public who forget their IC can manually enter their IC at the kiosks to receive a QR code printout for turnstile scanning.
Our friendly Service Ambassadors are available on-site to assist from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, while our security team is on duty from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
You may still register at the self-service kiosk by manually keying in your IC number.
