This is the MOH EatSafe SG Advanced Hands-on Workshop for the healthcare institution champions Speech Therapists, Dietitians, Nurses providing care in healthcare institutions.
Pre-requisites:
- Completed and passed e-learning module
- Completed EatSafe SG Basic Hands-on
Course Objectives:
- Reinforce safety implications and impetus for adhering to IDDSI standards in institutions
- Know how to conduct audits and training for basic hands-on skills for thickening, syringe tests and diet texture mapping
Who Should Attend:
- Identified champions across institutions
Competency Mapping:
- CCSSF-T-CAS-2021-1 Assist therapist in performing client assessments (Basic II)
- CCSSF-T-CAS-4022-1 Assess and prepare report on client’s condition for therapist (Advanced)
- CCSSF-T-FOCACT-3023-1 Support therapists to reinforce client education and training to client and caregivers (Intermediate)
- CCSSF-T-FOCACT-4024-1 Educate client and caregiver about client conditions, and train them in relevant areas of client training to improve/maintain client conditions under guidance of therapist (Advanced)
